Up isn't a Disney movie, it's Pixar.

reply

it's disney-pixar.

reply

Pixar does all the work on it. Disney just does what it's really good at and markets the thing. That the Jonas Brothers have become famous attests to the implacable marketing god that is Disney.

reply

Actually, although Disney does market the movie, and distribute it through Buena Vista, many of the Disney animators are on the board of animators in Pixar movies.

Get your facts right

reply

ME DON'T BELIEVES YOU

reply

disney animators work in burbank & pixar works as a stand alone production house in emeryville.

there is a reason they have 2 separate studios.

get YOUR facts right !

He or she rated it a 10/10, and IMDB users are in general rating it 4.7/10 or so which is dud territory. Pretty big differential there!

Really, Guinea Pigs?

reply

Sooooo you're saying you saw Zach Galifanakis in The Hangover, an R-rated alchohal centered, sex and nude related, crude, and all around vulgar movie (which I loooooved) and then went to G-Force, a barely PG rated Disney movie about talking animals and thought to yourself "ooh it has Zach Galifanakis in it, I bet it will be as funny as The Hangover......." you sir are the failure here.

I thought G-Force was OK.. I just wated to slap you...with logic

reply

Not only did he/she think I love you, Beth Cooper was one of the best movies he/she has ever seen, but his/her caps button appears to be stuck and all their words are upper case (annoying).

reply

High School Musical 3 wasn't a hit? Seems like anything in a franchise is a moneymaker overall.

Who's Beth Cooper?

i'm just praying for princess and the frog.
i have hope!
disney CAN return to it's true greatness
but now it's just.... well you know

reply

I absolutely agree. I didn't see either of them, and don't plan on it. They were clearly movies that succeeded at fulfilling the purpose of their production.
Bad movies? Probably.
Failed movies? Absolutely not.

reply

"BEVERLEY HILLS CHIHUAHUA" failed ? it was the #1 movie for 4 or 5 weeks and has done well on dvd.

reply

I think the user means "crappy" rather than "failed".

HSM didnt fail actually.

Hey, where's Perry?

reply

As Far as the Disney/pixar issue

I work for Disney and

Disney and PIxar are 2 seperate companies!

reply

This debate is pointless. Most films today are produced by a production studio and distributed by a separate company that either funded the production or bought the finished film. It's like debating whether Star Wars was a Lucasfilm film or a 20th Century Fox film. It's both. Especially because in most cases (except independent film), the distributing studios has more than a little control on the production. In this case, the production company (Pixar) is also owned by the distribution company (Walt Disney Pictures).

Hey, it's back! Check the profile for the message boards I control.

reply

Wait! I Love You Beth Cooper 10/10. Nevermind you are probably being sarcastic. Its pathetic that G-Force was even concieved. Just a truly embarassing, and stupid film even for kids.
