What's the deal with Olivia's expensive cream....on her feet?

I kind of assume that Olivia was poor but felt like her looks were faded, possibly because of her last "relationship" and her job situation. But why was she wasting the stolen big jar on her feet?

Because it was stolen and she could. If she had paid for it, she would feel guilty about misusing it like that.

It was a turning point for be character. Notice she used the cream on her feet as she quit her cleaning jobs. She decided to make a change.
