Just posed the question on the Mulholland Drive board if anyone else had seen this. The film is not all that Lynchian in style but I could see some similar themes and obviously NW and SC are friends with DL.
shareTalking of Mulholland Dr similarities... there are the auditions, a car crash (here just a small bump though), Hollywood sign caught in a frame, vague lesbian undertones (here, unfortunately quite... unrealized), a character walking in on an act of infidelity, some stuff with a dumpster... I`m sure there was more.
