I'm definitely not a soap fan, although I find many of them quite charming... With this in mind my expectations for this movie should be low, but actually I'm very eager to watch Corbin's first directorial feature. Please tell me what you think about it, if you're about to see it soon!? Would appreciate it.
shareI'm getting so sick of this... every time I read a review on IMDB now I'm wondering how much of it is objective or if it's been planted by a cast or crew member, or friend of the director or actors. I'm reading reviews by people who think films are "wonderful" because they saw it at a Film Festival and met the crew or heard the director answer some questions, or beacause it was filmed in their NEIGHBORHOOD! Then when I see these things they're terrible. Is anything in the media real in 2006, or is it all about making any attempt whatsoever to pull people in so you can make a few more bucks? We've reached a very scary time in society.
shareI agree COMPLETELY! I didn't pay for this, thankfully. It's garbage. Whatever crew member would think this might enhance their rep by more people watching it I don't know. I would want this shtie hidden away for eternity. It's had ZERO redeeming values and is one of the worst movies I've seen in years. Dreadful soundtrack that simply doesn't belong, pathetic dialogue and abysmal acting. Amateur direction adds nothing to the pic either.
Run and keep running...do not watch this under any circumstances.
I'm amazed at the reviews here. Very negative and prejudiced,based on some kind of snobbish disdain for actors on daytime TV. It was an entertaining movie. I knew there were some soap stars in the movie but....I enjoyed it.
