Ace Combat 1950s/60s era To Be Made?

Who thinx there should be a Cold War version of Ace Combat made?, Set around the 1950s/60s Missions will be based on Cuban Missile Crisis, Soviet Threat/Spy Rings, There would also be Korean/Vietnam War type missions.

Maybe there could be missions where you fly a very fast jet like the
YF-12 Blackbird/XF-103/X-15/Mig 25 and hunt down ICBMs before they land on Osea

The Soviet Caspian Sea Monsters could be used by Yuktobania and be used in the Scinfaxi type missions

Help downed pilots in the jungles(Like in the Vietnam War) Anyone seen
'BAT 21' with Gene Hackman?

There could be a space race like in the late 1950s/Early 1960s

Belkan Missile Crisis(Based on Cuban incident around 1961/62?)

Charachters could be Captain Bartletts/Choppers/Swordsmans father?

and to have a remake of AC5 with older planes?

Good idea, but smells a little like MGS 3 to me.

They should have an Ace Combat game covering the conflict between Belka and Recta from 1981-1984. Or a game taking place in 1945 that covers Belka's expansion and absorbtion of the southern lands. It would probably include late WWII prop fighters such as the F4U-4 Corsair, P-51D Mustang, Fw-190, A6M2 Zero, and early fighter jets such as the Messerschmitt Me262, P-80 Shooting Star, MiG-15, or DeHavilland Vampire.

Yeah, that would be really cool. A game like that would offer a different style of game play. Those types of planes balance really heavy on thier x- axis and are difficult to make roll, so dog fighing would be a different game. Speeds would be significantly slower being that most WW2 era fighters couldn't pass 500 mph but Chuck Yeager with a P-51D Mustang could top out at 612 mph equipped with four turbochargers and nitrous. Therefore game Maps would be smaller. Campaigns based over Island nations would mirror the United States- Japanese war. Bombing raids over inland nations would bring back memories of Europe.
Another big change would be use of weapons and evading them. Primary weapons would be machine guns, secondary would be unguided rockets, torpedos, bombs, and maybe even napalm, but Im not sure if that was even around yet. Fighting ship battles would be a furball. Skies filled with 30mm anti-aircraft rounds and flak shells. No more roll, spin, and turn like crazy after hearing a missile warning, no more light grazing from wimpy anti- aircraft gun fire. Flying near ships would be a death wish, gun emplacements would be a nightmare, and flak becomes a dirty word. I think a game like that would be refreshing. Here are some aircraft that should be in the game.

Studka Divebomber
Messerschmitt Bf 109 & 110
Focke-Wulf Fw 190
Messerschmitt Me 163
Messerschmitt Me 262

Heinkel He 100
Heinkel He 112
Heinkel He 162
Macchi C.200
Macchi C.202
Macchi C.205
Fiat G.55
Fiat G.50

Kawanishi N1K-J
Mitsubishi A6M-Zero
Supermarine Spitfire
Kawker Hurricane
Hawker Typhoon

Grumman F4F Wildcat
Vought F4U Corsair
Grumman F6F Hellcat
Curtiss P-36 Hawk
Bell P-39 AirCobra
Curtiss P-40
Republic P-47 Thunderbolt
P-38 Lightning

B-10 Skyraider
B-24 Liberator
B-25 Mitchell
B-26 Marauder
B-29 Superfortress

Just my thought.

To add to your already excellent idea, I would suggest adding the Beaufort Beaufighter to the list of planes, as well as changing up the sp weapons a bit.

Have two types of rockets on the planes. AP for ship hulls, and HE for the decks. The AP would sink the ship, while the HE would basically sweep the gun emplacements on the decks and such.

Sorry, I'm a 404 squadron junkie, and they were the pioneers of air/ship battle strategies that are used today.

If a game was to be made, defiantley include the F-86 Sabre, and the Mig-15, and have a location similar to "Mig Alley".

I believe that "The Round Table", aka Airspace B7R from Ace Combat Zero was based on "Mig Alley" from the Vietnam War due to the high number of dogfights that occured there. What bothered me about "The Round Table" though was: If the Allies are advancing through Belka, how is it they never advance through/past Airspace B7R?
