shareHi, just wanna know, what happened to the commander in charge of the squardron?
sharefirst off, s'good game, the whitebird missions a bit tough but anyway, his wing was clipped by a subs missle and he had to eject or die, so he ejected and flew into the ocean where from what figure was killed by the A)the yukes killed him or B)ocean killed him, but i never finished the game so i wouldnt know, that did anwer your question though right?
When there is no more room in hell the dead will walk the earth.
If you're referring to Captain Bartlett...

He was not hit by a sub's missile. He was shot down by a small intelligence vessel, and did eject. He was picked up by that vessel, and taken back to Yuktobania as the first POW.
However, not too long after that, he escaped and eventually fell in with people that were resitsting the Belkan-controlled government of Yuktobania, which happened to include his former g/f that he met during the 1995 war.
Eventually, he makes indirect contact with your group, who are secretly operating off the Kestrel, due to a certain incident that led to your finding out that the Belkans are in control of the Osean government. Several times, his group sent you encoded messages that led to your rescuing President Harling, burying nuclear weapons, preventing the Arkbird from nuking a Yuktobanian city, etc. Finally, in Mission 25, he tells you that they've found Prime Minister Nikanor and extracted him from a Belkan-controlled prison. After you support them for a while, they reach an airport and steal a naval transport plane, and fly it back to the Kestrel.
In the next mission, he flys the Prime Minister to the Osean capital, (which had been cleared of Belkan supporters, BTW) due to an attack by a Yuktobanian fleet.
In the second-to-last mission, he flys in from the opposite side of a tunnel to destroy one of two control underground facilites for the SOLG- Sub-Orbital Linear Gun- while your squadron flies in from the other side and destroys the other control facility.
Well, I probably left something out, but, that's the general idea of the Bartlett sub-plot...
yeah, but we never get word after that. god only knows if he got out alive...
sharehe died they said hamilton was killed by being hit by a ricocheting plane we are to assume it was bartlett's plane
shareUh, no... Bartlett's plane didn't richochet, it kept going well past Hammy.
shareHamilton was hit by one of the planes (Su-27 I believe) that are flying head on to meet you in the facility, not by Bartlett.
It is presumed that Bartlett makes it out the other side. It has been a while since I beat AC05, but I think you can even see Bartlett's plane on the cinematic after you make it out of the facility.
