Possible Gungrave Movie

I don't know if anyone has posted about this topic yet or not. I've checked the other posts and couldn't find anything relevant. However, I could have missed something and if someone has already posted this information then I ask that you bear with me.

I can't read Japanese, but it would seem that over at www.gungrave.com, there's news on the possibility of a Gungrave movie. Unfortunately, that's the only information I can gather as it is a Japanese site. Perhaps someone who knows Japanese could go over there and translate the information? I think the fans would want to know more about this.

I deeply hope you aren't referring to the movie section of the site, where you can see clips from the game.

If you aren't, please post the exact link for your information.

I doubt there are plans but I think that this series would make a great film. Actually, I think you would need to do it in two or three films. But it would be great.

Yeah, where exactly is this site? You didn't list it, and I have heard no news of it otherwise. An exciting prospect, though, so do share.

Unfortunately, it looks like it really is only a section for clips from the video games. If you go to www.gungrave.com and click on “Click the Enter,” you’ll be taken into the main site and you’ll see a list of categories on the left. The labels for these categories include “GUNGRAVE O.D.,” “GUNGRAVE T.V.,” “GUNGRAVE,” and “MOVIE.” The labels “GUNGRAVE O.D.” and “GUNGRAVE” were links to information on the video games and the label “GUNGRAVE T.V.” was a link for info on the TV show, so I assumed that the label “MOVIE” would be a link for info on a future movie in development and I was wrong. When I first checked the "MOVIE" link back in ’05 before I posted here, all I’d find were vague pictures of Brandon Heat (or “Beyond the Grave”) on celluloid film. So it’s easy to imagine why I would think it might have had to do with the possibility of an actual movie. As I said before, I can’t read Japanese, so I had no way of knowing otherwise. Instead, it turned out that the section was eventually a link for downloading clips from the video games. I would have thought downloading video game clips would have been for the video game sections of the website, but oh well. Anyway, I’m sorry if I wasted anyone’s time on this.

Convergence Entertainment bought the film rights to it in 2009. And that's it. No update after that.
