How come Little cook doesn't have a proper name?

This is probably one of the best children's shows on tv at the moment but there is one thing that really annoys me: How come Big cook has a proper name (Ben), but poor old little cook has to put up with being called "small", which quite frnakly is a description, not a name. It just seems a little unfair on the poor little chap!

Simple. The only reason Big Cook Ben has a proper name is because he's really named after Big Ben, the famous clock tower in London. They just named Little Cook 'Small' just to make it seem fair.
