does the lesley sharp character have ocd? just watching series two and looks like it...

She does up to a point. The second series (which will hopefully be re-shown as part of the current revival on ITV3) elaborates on the reasons behind her ritualistic behaviour and develops as a climactic episode. Stick with it.

Right. Without giving away the key thing, my understanding of her OCD attack was that she was channeling someone who had it and doing the behaviors of the spirit.

Not that Alison had it herself...
