I actually really liked it
I sometimes flip through movie channels late at night and end up watching anything that looks interesting (700 channels and I'm reduced to something I've never heard of that 'might' be interesting, go figure), but I mostly end up watching crap like One Of Them or, God forbid, Bloodrayne *shudders* This movie I actually liked quite a bit. It did keep me wondering up until they went to the garage place if Brandon might be real or not. If he's real, then it's the story of the second coming of the Messiah. If not, then it's something much darker. I was always curious if they would eventually discover who he really was in a flash of light and realize that they had revoked the Messiah. I'm happy to find a movie that actually made me wonder and wasn't cliched through the roof.
Randy Travis' acting was marvelous. When I first saw his name in the credits at the beginning, I was like 'Oh God, this movie's gonna suck major, we all know most singers can't act.' Much to my surprise, he was great in his role and should be cast in more roles. Certainly not a handsome man, but he's obviously very talented in many areas.
The only thing I really hated about this film was the CGI. Other than that, I loved it!
My mind called me but I forgot to pick up. http://www.myspace.com/darkalessa
