If anyone noticed, there was an Easter egg: Apparently, the garbage man was Sid from the first film, as he was wearing the same exact shirt with the skull on it. Although it was kind of a pointless cameo not even worth mentioning, since Woody did not recognize him and Sid didn't freak out when he spotted Woody (he knows the toys are alive, after all).

Now that you mention it, I'm surprised Woody didn't recognize Sid and Sid didn't freak out or react to Woody being alive.

He probably went through years of therapy and repressed the memory with drugs and alcohol. Shoot I probably would too. I'd totally freak if I found out guys come to life.
