Beware!
Just really not very good at all. OK, I'll admit it, this was actually really bad. Kudos to the director for having walk-ons by Louise Post and an awesomely unplugged Matt Nelson, but that's just in the deleted scenes. This movie was a mess. I'm a Rachel Miner fan, but I can safely say that I have never seen her deliver a more confused performance. Tormented young artist doesn't see the light until a Gordon Gekko-style promoter convinces him that the new road to artistic integrity lies in creating art first, and then destroying it. I'd go on and on, but in the true spirit of alcohol-riddled cluelessness that the protagonist of this monstrosity embodies, I'm just too tired and (perhaps) too drunk to continue.
PS: Rachel keeps all her clothes on throughout. I only mention this because someone on this messageboard started a rumor about her having full frontal nude scenes et. al. in this film. Not true at all. Oh, well...
Right. Well, I have to-- I have to go now, Duane, because I, I'm due back on the planet Earth.
