This film rocked on too many levels to count.
Finally a film made by filmmakers with a vision and not merely a studio with a budget.
The amazing action, virtuoso poetic performances and cinematography aesthetics were all feats to behold yet still secondary. This film had a heart and a soul.
I am almost thankful the director did not get a major deal to make this film. It might have ruined it. Nevertheless a classic was created and I rank it as top 5 for 2009 and certified "slept on phenomenon".
Stop sleeping and check out this masterpiece ASAP.

well I'm sorry but I have to disagree, this was dull & bad with horrible acting

just very weak on all levels

This thread was started by someone who has commented on only 5,6 films, thinks Blade 2 was da s(hyt) & had no history in rating. Sorry Im going to have to pass on this one

Nevertheless the film was the AMAZING. And yes Blade 2 was the best action film ever made.

Agreed, the movie was great. The only bizarre surprise is the bad rating on imdb. Not that this never happened before.

I love the style of the movie, the narrative, witty and clever dialogues.

Didn't like the main female actor, shoulda exchange places with femme fatale. Really like the killer doctor and the mad monk.
