I just saw the film at the Cape Cinema

My congratulations to the director and her vision of a very personal story, watching the movie I had to remind myself both how far and how far there is to go for accepting gay people by the mainstream. A lovely slice of life of beautiful Cape Cod with a truly moving story. My one question is the final dedication about the two men I think it said not walking together. Again see this lovely film.

Did you attend the screening with the director and stars, or just a regular showing?

If you have the time and desire to provide more details about the film, I'dlove to hear them!

It was a regular showing, but I believe one of the young actresses was giving some sort of web interview on the steps of the cinema, which coincidentally is mentioned in the film along with Smuggler's Ice Cream, another Cape landmark.
The film did a good job of showing the way the Cape was thirty five years ago, I was a little older than the young film actors at that time. I think they may have to still work on the print because it looked a little yellow to me, perhaps to show nostalgia, but that is something (lighting etc.) which I know nothing about, I just love going to the movies. Some in the audience clapped at the end, but don't forget most of the crowd I am sure live on the Cape and love seeing it on film. All in all, a nice film which I recommend.
