white women in this movie

Why are all the white women in this film portrayed as slags with serious low self esteem issues!?

1) Becky - goes with anyone, will suck off anyone for a bit of drugs

2) The Uncle's girlfriend - happy to be throttled by her Yardie 'boyfriend'

3) Sam's girfriend - gets beaten up, slapped, verbally abused by her 'boyfriend' , walks off with another 'charming' chav but still sleeps with Sam

4) Sam's girlfriend's mum - seemingly middle class mum who is happy to let this wannabe 'gangsta' into her house, knock around and abuse her daughter and even offers condoms for him to shag her!?

5) Women in shop - despite being educated and married, still interested to go with a 15yr old hoody lowlife?!

6) Suicide girl - just allows some chavs to knock her around and doesn't say a thing.

7) Girls at party - white girls , all trying to hook up with black guys?!

The only character who gets a bit of credit is the only black female,Alisa. Although she also comes across as a ho (who will give handjobs whilst pregant and be used by her 'boyfriend'), at least she sticks up for herself a bit and doesn't get completely abused and walked over.

This film would suggest all women (especially the white women) are hos whose only ambition is to be knocked around and used by black men.

p.s. Black men don't get a good press either. They are all mysogynistic, disrespectful scum. Do any of them get portrayed with redeeming features? At least in films like Boyz in the hood, Meance to Society there are characters who have some good in them and characters trying to help steer others in the right direction. In this film they're all as unlikeable as each other.

oh yeah. Becky. What a lovely, young, smart, ambitious mademoiselle - and well versed....with her mouth anyways She could hang in my crib any time.

ad 5. You apparently missed that part and could have saved yourself the entire rant. Architect girl blew him off. And which girl isn't keen on honing their social skills.

I see you replied, so I guess you do come back to these threads, I hope you see my post. While reading this thread, I couldn't help but get a little angry, not the angry that would satisfy your thirst for the continuation of ignorance and hatred, but angry at how it's a fact that I have to remind myself that no matter how many of us are individuals, no matter how many of us have lead completely sane and normal life's even in environments that many could not think to do so in, that I'm always gonna have to keep in mind that this person will just look at my skin and "assume", from nothing more than my skin, and believe me that's all it takes, as I've been in a metal band with whites as a guitarist and I still received racial hostility towards, what would be my peers for being a black guy.

Now, on with the breaking down of your stupidity as I'm not pressed for time and I'll spare a bit to hopefully enlighten a someone who may read this. Ikimashoo~

The Uncle's girlfriend - happy to be throttled by her Yardie 'boyfriend'

Becky - goes with anyone, will suck off anyone for a bit of drugs

Sam's girfriend - gets beaten up, slapped, verbally abused by her 'boyfriend' , walks off with another 'charming' chav but still sleeps with Sam

Suicide girl - just allows some chavs to knock her around and doesn't say a thing.

Many of these observations are situations that can take place in many lives, or ethnicity. So I'mg gonna focus on were your racial ignorance shines.

Sam's girlfriend's mum - seemingly middle class mum who is happy to let this wannabe 'gangsta' into her house, knock around and abuse her daughter and even offers condoms for him to shag her!?

What's her being middle class have to do with anything? I've known females from all walks of life to accept relationships of different financial classifications, and any that don't are obviously conceited.

I'm pretty sure, even from the small moment of actions in that scene, she had no idea Sam was a "wannabe gangsta", she probably just knew he was a kid from her school... UNLESS you're saying she should ASSUME he was a gangsta because he was..... black?

What I'm about to say now, is probably understand by a minuscule part of society, and many people are not intelligent enough to understand it. DON'T coddle females or in this case daughters, don't keep her away from guys intentionally, and if she happens to be with a kid you judge to be a nice kid, you have to leave it up to her to make these choices in life, you can't make them, the things you instill in them at a young age will aid in their choosing of a partner. If you don't inform her that sex is just a natural human act, you will in turn increase the chances of her being mentally, and physically abused in the long run, because her need for attention and negative choices she's made, and in dealing with the OP, this character was written to obviously take on a more intelligent form of parent ALTHOUGH, she didn't completely understand and complete the parameters of her form of parenting and her daughter chose wrong, as well as keeping her in a certain environment, which is sometimes out of a parents control but depends on what's instilled in a young age.

Women in shop - despite being educated and married, still interested to go with a 15yr old hoody lowlife?!

Not sure why you assume she's educated, although I'm sure your one of the many drones that believe by "just" owning a piece of paper, your intelligent, I'm sure you believe many things.

Why do you keep saying "go"? Anyways...

...you'd be surprised at what the female will do. Again, how do you assume he was a "hoody lowlife"? Black? Or could it be that he whore urban clothing, which many races do. What is the attire for non-hoody? I don't mind suits, but I don't wear them or dress clothes all the time, am I a "hoody"? I'm pretty sure you would think I'm a goth wanna be, but that goes to show how people being open about their ignorant judgement has always being a problem.

Girls at party - white girls , all trying to hook up with black guys?!

LoL, hmmm... this one's interesting. This type of anger towards interracial relationships, is usually caused by a deep rooted experience or commonly, the household environment, everyday environment, one time personal instances or media portrayal. There are only a few ways to cure one of this sickness.

This film would suggest all women (especially the white women) are hos whose only ambition is to be knocked around and used by black men.

I understand this is your opinion, and my opinion is that if this is what you got and had to share with the world from Kidulthood, than aside from you being close minded, your aren't really perceptive. BUT, I can understand, that this is all you care about.

p.s. Black men don't get a good press either. They are all mysogynistic, disrespectful scum. Do any of them get portrayed with redeeming features? Getting a good press, I'm American, so I see this as meaning two things, maybe more but I haven't heard of any others.

One - since I enjoy British film, you could be talking about sex, and gosh, that's another topic, and would probably explain why you continue to say "go", I find English, English so interesting.

Two - An american POV, press as in how the world see's us, of course we aren't represented positively if so... I highly doubt this is what your referencing to so, moving on...

They are all mysogynistic, disrespectful scum.
Wow, each and everyone of us huh, were ALL the same? OK OK, let's look at this both ways.

EVERYONE BEWARE! DON'T GET CAUGHT ALONE WITH WHITE GUYS, BECAUSE THEIR ALL SADISTIC PEDOPHILES WHO WILL EAT YOUR BRAIN, DISMEMBER YOUR BODY IN THEIR BASEMENT IN A GATED COMMUNITY, OR MASS RAPE WOMEN BECAUSE THEY GREW UP IN A SICK HOUSEHOLD WHERE THEY'RE MOTHER OR DAD SEXUALLY ABUSED THEM. EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM, AND THIS IS JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE WHITE, NO OTHER REASON.

Seriously, this is just ONE film (saw it some years ago online)how the hell is ONE film supposed to represent ALL women? That's a stupid thing to say, because no ONE film can represent ALL women. Plus that is not even what the film is saying---it just give you a look at the daily life of some messed-up-immature teens in South London. Just admit that you didn't like seeing these white girls hooking up with brothers (it happens in real life everyday--get over it.)

And, uh, the script for this film was written by actor Noel Clarke (who played Sam) it was based on his own experience growing up in what Brits call a council estate (the Brit equivalent of a ghetto 'hood.) Practically everyone in the film is depicted in an unpleasant way---not just the young black guys and the white chicks in it. In fact, it's a depressing flick because it shows how young, dumb teens can get so caught up in this stupid wanna-be gangsta bull**** to the point where tragedy ensues. That, unfortunately, happens all too often in real life----in fact, where I'm from, two teens shot at each other, one killing the other, because they were both mad at each other over some stupid s***. It's really sad.
