is this for a 44 year old ?

Seems to be a good movie, but its got kids. So is it a teen romance drama, or will it interest an older age group

Darkness lies an inch ahead

Yes, give it a go. I'm 29 and really enjoyed watching it last night!

I'm 42, and I thought that this was an exceptional film. It's not your "typical" teen romance. It certainly has an appeal to people of all ages. It has a great script, story, and it doesn't get melodramatic. I think you'll enjoy it.

It's true that I never read responses.

I'm 32, and honestly, I think I'd lived too much to enjoy this movie by the time I was 19. I'm sorry, but it's all just so teen drama. I wouldn't recommend it-- and this is coming from a guy who made the mistake of listening to all the misguided reviews on here.

I enjoyed this movie as I did A Walk To Remember. I actually got teary at the end, too. I think a lot of it is universal and even if you're older you can remember when you were a teenager and first love and how strong those feelings were. This also deals with loss which is again, universal.

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose.
Fire away, fire away.

You don't have to be the same age as the characters to enjoy a film (or tv show, or novel). Anybody who thinks so is depriving him/herself of a lot of entertainment.
