hei everyone...this is Justin.Paul.Ritter here...just stopping in to welcome everyone to the IMDB message board discussion of my first independent feature effort, "KatieBird*certifiable crazy person"...if you've already seen the movie, please vote and add your user comments...if you haven't seen it...well...SEE IT!!! Just reading the synopsis from the website, I've got a question about a possible plot hole or at least an inconsistency. If Dr. Richardon's been her doctor and has known her long enough to be her lover, how can he have not know about her past before?

who said he doesn't know? sometimes people only "see" what they want to see...besides, some people become lovers over night, though that is not the case here...but feel free to watch the movie and you'll learn alot more about the sick inner workings of all these characters...

It was definitely hard to watch, but I really liked it. It seemed very realistic and had acting that was far superior to nearly every low budget flick I've seen in recent memory.

Kudos to you, Justin! Keep us informed about your future projects here.

hei James...we really appreciate the show of support...the movie has been slowly building a really cool fan base, and it is people like you spreading the word that will hopefully grow KatieBird into something that the world at large has no choice but to pay attention to...as for what we're doing next, there are things in the works, but I don't want to give any details yet for fear of jinxing things :D but stay stuned and I'll definitely let you know! thanks again...

I found out about this movie a while back in a Lightwave 3d forum when you were asking if anyone would want to do a computer animated short to play before the movie. Since then I've been checking the website and eagerly awaiting this film. Well I have to say that it turned out even better than I had thought. A really unique, disturbing, and all around great film. Congradulations!! I think a sequel would be awesome.

hei 3DS...hehee...wow...you remember that? awesome! too bad that we got so few responses...I think people were expecting me to be some kind of con-artist looking to take advantage, but all I really wanted was to help some deserving animators get worldwide exposure as part of the DVD release...in total we received 3 responses to the ads which we placed on dozens of sites...can you believe that? so many people out there complaining that they aren't able to get exposure, yet none of them replied to a legitimate opportunity to have their work talked about the world over! oh well...anyway...thanks for getting in touch...I'm really happy that you were stoked with the results, especially given that you were tracking the project for such a long time! as for a sequel, we've already got a script for it written, and we're planning a script for a prequel as well - but it will be a long while before my brain is ready to return to KatieBird land...I really want to make something else to cleanse my pallette before returning to the Wilkins family :D hehee...so...thanks one more time! we really appreciate all the support...

hei Walter...Katie has already been to San Fran a couple times, and I'm not sure exactly when she'll be coming back...you can definitely get a hold of her on DVD, but our next theatrical screening probably won't happen until later this summer or possibly as late as Halloween...either way, please let us know what you think after you see the movie! thanks...
