Unlike others I liked some thing about this film However...

When Annie asked Pete if he was the one who ratted her out to the cops why didn't he just say "How would I even know what was in the bag to rat you out? For all I knew it could have been your dirty laundry." That did not make any sense to me. She had just hit the store the night before. Even if it had been on the news that someone did a smash and grab at the jewelry store how would anyone but her and her boyfriend know what bag the jewels had been put into?
