The director's whole focus for this movie seemed to be centred on
Making cool same-shot transitions. Ohhh, she just jumped off the building but now she's HERE. SAME SHOT AND EVERYTHING! Oh looky, he just threw all that crap off the desk, but looky now! All back redressed again! Oh looky, he took the gun to kill himself but BAM! LOOK! It's back again! SAME SHOT!
Disclaimer: I'm not familiar enough with this director's work to know if he used the phrase "oh looky" with such regularity, or at all. But really, didn't he think of focusing on sh!t that mattered? Like making a movie.. Because people don't generally go to see films to be impressed by how quickly a clean-up crew can redress a set, or how neatly you can CG stuff back together again.
