Was the 'release' a metaphor?

I'm not sure if anyone else caught this, but to me it felt like the 'release' ceremony, where the elderly and the young were terminated, was a metaphor for euthanasia and abortion?

Does anybody else think this was the case?

I'd say the "clear language" for euthanasia what is already a metaphor for it means "good death".

It was used by the Nazis to cover the actual crime behind it:

This regime, the elders, are just about the same.
