This is an okay movie--not as smart as it thinks it is, in my opinion. The actors are compelling--but you won't learn anything new about old loves, regret, aging, committment, love, lust.

The presentation of the film is interesting--a lot of it is split-screen--which does create some depth. I thought the writing could have been sharper, though. Many, however, disagree with that assessment.

In my opinion it's fantastic but I am a little biased considering how much I adore Helena BC. It is so rare that you get a film this good so you must see it!
