does anyone else think?(HUGE spoilers)

that jesse didn't really die? cause when he is around christina he cant be hurt, and when he got stabbed in the neck with whatever the heck she threw at him, they were.....together. so it's possible, (in my mind) that maybe in the second season they intended for him to come back. does anyone besides me think that this could be possible?

Yeah, I think he would have come back to life in season two. It would have made a great scene at the morgue, when the autopsy guy pulls out the knife. :)

she wouldn't be around him when they pull out the knife though :P

I'd take a stab in the dark and say he'd be dead for seven hours...eh it's a neck wound on the other side of the neck. The show tended to stick with the predictable twists *shrug*

But Christina wasn't around when he came back to life as a child. Just because she makes him *more* invulnerable and physically stronger doesn't mean he wouldn't come back to life if his job is not finished.

Personally, I think Jesse's dead. God only revived him when he was a child because he still had a destiny to fulfil - to meet Christina and persuade her to maintain the status quo, instead of destroying the world (as her father wanted). He's failed in that task, so God has no further use for him.

But the lame-ass standoff in the finale was nothing like the final 'prophecy', or Christina's visions, Christina didn't do anything but finally go over to the dark side. Even Marti said in interviews there was still more to the story, that the last couple of episodes only bring enough conclusion to satisfy fans, and she said she wanted to have Christina turn evil since that's what would happen in season two, implying that there's a lot of story that was left to tell, and we also can't assume Christina was going to STAY on the "dark side". Unless you just personally want to imagine it going down like that.

Indeed, it was originally planned that there was more story to come, but that doesn't mean that Jesse was going to be part of it. He'd betrayed Christina in the worst way possible, and therefore it was extremely unlikely that she'd EVER trust him again. Accordingly, I don't think he would have had any role to play in bringing her back from 'the dark side'. In my opinion, that task probably would have been carried by Judy Kramer and/or her mother Meg.

To summarise: I think Jesse was redundant. There'd be no reason to bring him back.
