Now, I know St. Martin's was in Ocean Grove which was two towns away from Point Pleasant. My question is, why did the residents of Point Pleasant attend this church? Was Point Pleasant really THAT small that they didn't have their own parish? I always found that to be odd.
shareI think maybe that was just a "goof" sort of. It's mentioned in the pilot but details often change from pilot to series, and after the first episode there's no hint that St. Martin's is not in Point Pleasant. In episode eleven the cop goes to the church on police business and wouldn't that have been out of his jurisdiction?
Also the church seems to be pretty close so I'm assuming it's supposed to be in the actual town.
