never gets dull

I have to admit I was so angry when they cancelled it without even a word back in the day, and i also have to admit that i went right out and bought the season on DVD the day it came out and watched it from start to finish (it was a lonnngggg night having to watch that many episodes but still worth it)...

NOW I HAVE TO ADMIT ONE MORE THING.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

i have watched the entire series like fifty times over and it never gets old. There are some moments in it when i'm like "oh elisabeth harnois you can act better than that" but other than that I LOVED it. why in the world would people have ended it so soon?

i'm not sure if many people look at this board anymore since point pleasant is from years back, but still it's my favorite television show and i think it simply got robbed of it's spot on my television each week. who the hell needs all these gossip girls and 90210's and all that crap (I know different network but still gets my point across)...i guess people just can't deal with something other than the normal teen nonsense trash on their televisions each night.

it's a shame, i love elisabeth harnois and sam page! they are great together!

anyone else feel this way?

Point Pleasant was definitely a great series and didn't get the chance to grow. Yes, the acting was bad at times, but I felt there was more good than bad. This show could have lasted a good 4 or five years.

If you haven't already seen it, you should also try Hex, a British series that was screened in the UK from 2004 - 2005. Point Pleasant and Hex share a number of similarities.

Yes, I have seen Hex and I absolutely love it. To me, though, Hex ended with Christina Cole's departure. I just didn't care for the Ella character.
