Someone on the Harper's Island board told me about this show and I loved it. Are there other shows like these two, with mystery/ horror/ supernatural themes. I already watch Supernatural and loved Twin Peaks.

You should try Hex (link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0423668/), a British show that debuted in 2004, the year before Point Pleasant, and was quite similar. The producers and writers of Hex also made a short-lived show in 2009 called Demons.

If you like the format of the show, which is essentially a supernatural soap opera with ongoing storylines I would recommed The Vampire Diaries, many of the elements remind me of Point Pleasant. The first handful of episodes are a bit iffy perhaps to some but it gets increasingly better, now that's it is coming to the end of the second season it's become my favorite show on TV.

I've replied before and I doubt you'll ever read this thread again. However. Now, I'd recommend: 666 Park Avenue, The Secret Circle, American Gothic.

I loved those shows as well. The Secret Circle should have been given a second season.

Just in case someone stumbles here and is wondering this, on March 7 2016, "Damien" premieres on A&E, it's a spin-off of "The Omen", which of course inspired "Point Pleasant" so it's the most similar show you'll fine I'm sure.
