episode(s)

is this jsut a one time thing or is this actually gonna be a series? personally, i thought it was pretty good but i could understand why it wouldn't be a full series. i think john should host snl, how bout you?

Ralphie: You think you're hot sh*t, but you're really just cold diarrhea.

It was initially planned as a season to be filmed on the summer tour. However, Mayer said when interviewd on the Today sho that they filmed the first pilot episode and then decided not to continue.
So, no more episodes.

Its probably a good thing, I can see the premise getting really old really fast.

But yes, He would be an awesome SNL host.

Are you kidding me... I think it's enough that people got to see a little slice of John through this TV show, but I'm SOOOOO incredibly happy that he isn't continuing it. His particular kind of humor is NOT meant for the masses. He's sarcastic and cynical, and not enough people can appreciate that. While John on SNL would be amusing for those of us who are true fans, I can only imagine what sketches that they'd have him do... it would suck...

He cannot be another Justin Timberlake... my faith would be in the knife...

I'm kinda upset that he only did one episode. His sense of humor is one in the same with mine and I loved the show. Hopefully he'll make a DVD or something which has the show and other things he does like that. It's hilarious.

Yay! Someone who likes Kevin Smith (I assume) AND John Mayer! And here I thought I was the only one.

Oh, and Mayer's show was pretty spiffy. Another episode would be nice, but I'm not counting on it.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I had heard that so many people didn't catch onto the jokes that they couldn't keep it going. It was a laugh riot though. Most of the people thought his stuff was serious and didn't realize that he was just screwing with their heads...oh well. I've got it on tape (I didn't know they'd play it over and over) so I can enjoy it whenever I want;)

I saw Mayer on Jimmy Kimmel (I think) before this show premiered, and he was like "No, literally, it's one show. John Mayer Has A TV Show... just one!" So, he made it seem like the intention was never to do more than 1 episode. But maybe I'm wrong. :-)

And that's all I have to say about that.

I only caught it once, by chance, and none of my many friends who WOULD'VE love the humor ever saw it, thought I made it up. It could've been publicized a bit more when it first aired :(

I missed this :( when was it on, what network? If someone has this recorded I would love to purchase a copy, email me at [email protected]. Thanks
