Frankly, I like the ending. Why? If you look at most in the "evil child" genre films, everyone dies, and of course, the child always lives at the end, which makes it sooooo predictable. To be very honest, given the child's drawings on the wall, I thought all were going to bite the dust. It was rather refreshing seeing a handsome male live at the end. True it may not have been the most creative ending but certainly a change from the usual predicts. Besides who would want to see something so beautiful as Josh Holloway being mutilated by those awful wolves or dogs...whatever the hell they were.
