I've decided to watch one of these "evil child" movies but, when at the video rental, both Joshua and this one caught my attention, and I don't know which is better (their IMBd ratings are also equal one has 6, the other has 5.9)
Any suggestions? Please avoid spoilers, though.

Depends what kind of movie you're going for. Whisper has the whole "devil child" thing going, while Joshua is more realistic.
I definitely preferred Joshua. Kind of over the whole Omen thing. But it was slower.

Joshua is much better but both are worth watching in my opinion

'Joshua' was slightly-better paced than 'Whisper', but the latter was much more entertaining.
And had a better ending.
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
