Isabelle Huppert....

....is one of the greatest actresses in film history. She's probably the greatest "pyscho" actress out there, always playing characters that are twisted, demented, enigmatic, dazed and confused, deeply flawed, etc.
She's somewhat like a female version of a Johhny Depp, albeit more willing to do nude scenes than Johhny.

"Gabrielle" is a tour de force for Huppert. Where's her Oscar? No, the film is not perfect, the characters are somewhat loathsome, but the acting and mood of the film are flawless. She simply blows away any actress in Hollywood.

It's worth seeing Gabrielle just to see Isabelle Huppert's performance.
