Piotr Adamczyk will indeed be playing the lead rôle again.

There's also an IMDB page for the sequel: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0495039

The premiére of the second part of the project will be aired by italian channel Canale 5 in two episodes; they will be aired in May, 10 and 11.
But, "Karol: The Pope who stayed as a man" ("Karol: un Papa rimasto Uomo") was 'ready' to be aired during the 1st anniversary of JPII's death (original broadcast dates were April 3, 4) but it was postponed due to a TV political debate between Prodi and Berlusconi, just scheduled for April 3rd.

When will they air this sequel on CBC? Or Hallmark channel??

Or how about EWTN? Great idea for this channel to air the sequel in the U.S.

Czesz:)

Hey guess what I got both of them in a pack for $9.99, how about that:) The length of the time is 375mins in total, which is pretty long, but hey I'm Polish & I loved the Pope, may he rest in peace:'( The DVD features: Optional Italian Language track, 2.0 Italian Dolby Digital, & 2.0 English Dolby Digital.

I'm really looking forward to watching this movie when I give it to my father for Christmas:) I LOVE being Polish & also loved the fact that the past pope was also Polish & 1 of a kind;) No one can & ever will measure up to what Karol has accomplished in his life time, not even that Nazi 1 that's pope now. His name doesn't have a ring to it or nothing. And you can't say "Is the Pope Polish" anymore, & just by adding Nazi or German in it takes away that ringtone to it. So now I say "Was the Pope Polish":) It takes a little getting use to, but it sure beats saying the other 1.

It Ain't Stealing If You Take It Fast:)
