Misleading Movie Poster(possible spoilers?)

Well, I saw the movie poster around asian rental stores quite often, and it was the main reason for me to check it out.

The poster I'm refering to is the pure white background with the entire cast dressed in maroon posing in diferent kung fu stances.

Well, After seeing the movie, i got a completely different impression then what i had when i saw the poster.(whether that impression raised or lowered what i was expecting, is irrelavent)

For starters, The sisters boyfriend in the image was just as big, if not bigger in apearance than, the actual family, making me beleive he would have been the main character. However, i was shocked to see that he didn't have a fight scene of his own, besides the minor skermish with "Dragon".

Second, Since the whole cast was dressed in similar clothing, and the name of the movie is "House" of fury, i though that everyone was either, living under the same move, like a dojo, or everyone was related in some way, via, aunts, cousins, etc.

Third, The main antagonist was crippled from the neck down in the movie, however in the poster, he was also in a battle stance, armed with claws, and looked like he was about to kick someass.

Well, there was another promo with the other "twins" partner, back to back with the sister in the movie, and kinda made me thought, or hoped, that i would have gotten to see them fight double teaming an enemy. But after seeing the movie, i could understand why they would have to do that since she is the other 50% of the famous "twins" duet.

No real point to this thread, just thought i would point out some misleading things about the posters from the perspective of someone who havent seen the movie.

Yes, it's been pointed out several times the ad campaign for this flick was mis-leading, I was kinda disppinted, I was expecting some sort of contemporary take on Fist Of Fury but the end proudct was the Hong Kong version of Spy Kids but that doesn't mean it's a bad movie, far from it, it's one of the best action movies I've seen in a long time, it's about time HK started putting out more kick ass martial arts flicks instead of all those stupid teeny bopper comedies but whatever makes money I suppose.

"I am Yulaw, I'm nobody's b*tch, you are mine!"

Here's how I look at it, y'know how the first fight wasn't really making any sense? The cover of the movie is just like Anthony Wong's exaggeration of his stories. But yeah, the way you looked at it was the same way I looked at the movie at first. At least it wasn't as bad as one of the Infernal Affairs posters.
