Help! I'm a dumb stupid blonde! (DSB) *spolier*

The car vandalism scene was hilarious:
DSB hears glass breaking and goes outside to find a rock was thrown through the car window. DSB sees figure in black skulking in yard, so she goes after them, only to be threatened with a shiny crossbow!!!

There is also the factor of someone walking around a neighborhood in broad daylight dressed all in black CARRYING A SHINY CROSSBOW!!! Think maybe the neighborhood Nazi would have called 9-1-1?

DSB runs away back into house, doesn't even bother to be sure he door closed or lock the door (continuity goof since door was locked a few seconds later), runs to the phone and calls... her husband!

DSB doesn't say anything about an armed intruder... just "I'm scared, just get home." and hangs up phone.

Phone rings again as DSB is going upstairs, drat, it's the anonymous caller again! DSB hears someone at the door (the same one she just ran through and didn't lock) trying to get in. DSB has the phone in hand and calls... nobody! Good thing it is DSB's friend at the now locked door, and she can get in through the locked door. Incidentally, she has an all black outfit on under her shawl (although her shoes are different from what the intruder was shown wearing). Hmmmm...

DSB's friend tells DSB to call the police, but DSB says no, husband is on the way and I have to tell him about my stalker first.

Husband has the breakthrough idea to call the police!!!

Also, well to do people in a big city in 2005 don't have caller ID so they can see who is calling? How about anonymous call blocking?

The daughter has the same genes when she goes out & sees the dog laying in the yard STILL ALIVE and she starts screaming like the thing had been dismembered.

DSB has a stalker & doesn't even lock the door to her vehicle while it is in the parking garage?

Movies like this are good examples of why we need stronger crossbow legislation in this country!

***Edit***
Ditto the scene where the truck tries to hit her in the parking lot. She is on the phone with her friend at the time and doesn't tell her what happened, but has to call her husband! Is she clueless as to 9-1-1?

I'm an English fan.

I started laughing so hard at that scene. I mean, what was she thinking?

In the scene where Jessica is nearly rundown, she seems quite calm. If that was me, i'd be freaking out and crying. She was reasonably calm when she told her friend she would call her back and then rung her hubby. I too thought it was strange she didn't tell her friend what happened.

Yeah this movie (along with other Lifetime movies) are so stupid like that.

LOL! But when you're in need of comic relief, WATCH ONE. No joke, you will find a way to laugh.
