Check your library or small theaters. I saw it at the Bloor Street Cinema in Toronto, and I also found it on DVD in the city library in Charlottetown.

It plays on the Documentary Channel in Canada every now and then. Check their website.

It is a good doc. But it could be dramatize larger to create story impact, for the doc is quite neutral. It's good either way for there are informations and images in there that I've never know before.

I just watched the movie two days ago and I found it to be good, 7/10. But I had to go to an independant shop downtown to rent it because major chains won't normally carry this kind of movie. Not for discriminatory reasons, maybe, but because major chains don't seem to carry many docs. The shop downtown specializes in both obscure and mainstream stuff; everything from the 'Secret' (yuck) to the entire James Bond collection. The docs' neutrality is the main reason that it hasn't gotten much attention. If it were more aggressive it would be labelled leftist propaganda by some and highly informative by others. But the movie doesn't commit to the overall message that marijuana should be legalized or that gay marriage is acceptable, it merely hints that these changes made the country a little more free. It allows the individuals who are interviewed to say it for them when they talk about getting life sentences for pot in Florida and such. The narrative never makes a blatant statement to get people fired up on the issues themselves, this isn't a Moore doc after all. This doc may be another in a long line of them that will help change things so that crazies like Ann Coulter can't actually go on national television and spout hate speech about invading Canada, a sovereign nation, just for legalizing pot and gay marriage. I mean, how dare we defy American law, just more imperialistic traits of a country convinced, mostly in extreme circles, that it is infallible due to its power. No, Canada is a free country and the sooner our castrated politicians learn to ignore threats and economic agendas from extremist *beep* in America, the sooner we free people can live with out hiding from blatant discrimination and intended oppression.

Good Old Netflix, reliable and affordable. I didn't realize it but this DOC is a Disinformation product. I was pleased to see the little devil at the opener of the flick.

Good movie! Great country! If only you were the lone superpower and the US was the one trying to carve out an identity from Canada's cultural influence.

It's also good to see you have people with incredibly shallow viewpoints and fascist ideals. The guy pointing his finger at the Prince of Pot before he was arrested for one. People like that make me want to murder. Pointing his finger and screaming LIAR LIAR!

People just want to live free. Why must *beep* always ruin that for us?

On the other hand, your Christian right appears to be incredibly polite.

Maybe they could give our Christians some pointers.

Who am I kidding US Christians know everything, well... maybe not KNOW, but at least they have the blind faith.
