Where to buy the volumes and what is it rated?

First, thanks to Anime monday I fell in love with a new Anime series. Its usually so difficult to find new stuff without having to buy it. And thanks to hulu I was able to watch the whole series and catch up on what I missed.

My question pertains to how I can purchase both volumes? I can only find vol. 1. Also when I search for it both online, Barnes and Noble and Best Buy list it as rated NC-17. Is that the true rating because it seemed tame to me on both hulu and Syfy?

Sadly, the DVD sold poorly, so there are no plans for further volumes of the series.

Is there a link to where Viz says this? I don't doubt that you're right, but I've been unable to find any confirmation by Viz that the rest of the series isn't going to be released.

It was definitely rated "TV-MA" on Sci Fi, although I'm not sure why. As you say, it was pretty tame in terms of explicit violence.

Also, just so you don't feel too bad about missing out on the DVD sets... there were only 15 episodes in volume one, which means they would have had to publish five volumes (at a list price of $250) to get the whole series. Which is probably why it didn't sell very well. If they had actually published, say, half the series at a reasonable price, they might have done better.

I know I'm shouting, I like to shout.

I thought it was because of fan outrage over the altered soundtrack that ultimately hurt DVD sales.

So if you bought all the volumes, how many minutes of viewing time in total do you get?

Try this, it's only season 1 though:
