Why is this not available to watch ANYWHERE?!

And I'm talking LEGALLY. It used to be on Netflix, once upon a time (Subbed)but now it's literally not available anywhere for steaming. I don't get how such a great show could be buried so deep underground.

Wasn't it on Hulu at one point?

Is there ANYWHERE that we can watch this show legally? Is the dub truly only available to watch illegally or on that ONE DVD they released years ago?

I'm just trying to figure out why this show is so inaccessible.

Nobody on the IMDB likes anything anywhere at anytime.

I have the series, as it was meant to be seen & heard (incredible subtitles), on decent-quality files, obtained through 'questionable means'.

I would gladly shell out cash for a high-quality version of the same thing. Like you said though, I never see it anywhere.

And yeah the dub is terrible, they changed a lot of dialogue, and the voices/attitudes don't really match the characters, especially Inspector Lunge, & Johan.

You really do need to hear the original Japanese voices, they are so good. And the subtitles are the way better (actual) dialogue.

Oh, I've watched the entire series in Japanese when it was on Netflix. I have kind of a different perception when it comes down to dubs so I don't mind it being so-so to some people's ears. I've kind of done some work in that world so that's why I appreciate dubs a little more than the average person. I'd just like to re-watch this series again in a different way, legally.
