The Silver Burglar and the Dogs
The show mentioned something about how dogs would not attack him and certain people are like that. I'm looking for the reason why. I'm wondering if it is something biological or something that can be learned.

it helped that he himself had a big dog, so he was used big dogs.
i've seen about 10 episodes of this show (which i love). the silver burglar one was my favorite.

Yeah I remember that episode, and they mentioned that a dog can "smell fear." He knew there would / could be dogs, and didn't let it get to him. I'm sure it's not a full-proof method, obviously, but that coupled with being quick, silent, and experienced is probably what helped him out.
