I favorite original voice was that of Kenichi Suzumura, the guy who played Shinn, and my favorite dub voice is that of Alistair Abell, the guy who played Lord Djibril.

I tend to always prefer the Japanese voices but there are two exceptions. I much prefer the english voices for Rau Le Crueset and Chairman Durandil

I like CHARman's Durandal's English VA better, but don't get me wrong Char's Japanese voice actor is awesome.

I don't favorite Shinn's Japanese voice or his English voice, because I hate Shinn in general.
My favorite original voice is Akira Ishida as Athrun(though his English voice is good too) and my favorite dub voice is Vanessa Morley as Cagalli(can't stand her original voice, she sound like a man)

*Pats Shinn on the back* Now now, some of your problems were fixed on the special edition movies...kinda. I mean it's not your fault. Fukuda-san justs wants to create a second Kamille Bidan but since he's wife likes to write fanfictions your position as main character was hijacked by Jesus Yamato and mistress Clyne. And Morosawa-chan had a falling out with your voice actor. It's not your fault really, you had lots of potential but you were screwed badly.

Wait. Char had an english dub? My copy of Mobile Suit Gundam has only Japanese audio.
My only complaint with MS: G is the fact it's 1 out of 3 dvds. The way the first dvd ended annoys me.

Yes, he was voiced by Michael Kopsa in MGS and Char's Counter Attack and Tom Edwards in Zeta Gundam. He was also voiced by David Lucas a.k.a Steven Blum in the first edition of the movie trilogies.

I stand by my picks for original and dub voice in GSD. As for the Gundam franchise in its entirety, my favorites are all of the guys who have played Char Aznable. I still have not yet seen the original Gundam trilogy with David Lucas a.k.a. Stevn Blum as Char but I should be getting that in the mail shortly.
