The Suzuki Bird Alien story arc is one of the saddest things I've ever seen! Not long after Nishi dies, the Grandmother dies to save her Grandson. I seriously almost cried, it was sadder than when the little green onion alien was crying and screaming.

ITA I wish they would have let Nishi live longer. I just watched volume 8. Kishimoto, hojo and saddako had sad deaths(brutal ones) too

I'm only up to the episode where the Grandmother dies. Does anyone else die on the suzuki bird alien missions?

Kato Kurono kishimoto Tetsuo hojo and sadako survive. Unfortunately they arent as lucky in the statue of buddah mission.
