the anime is pretty good, but gets kinda bad at the end in my opinion

for one thing the ending doesn't make any sense, I mean Aion is supposedly the Devil or something? huh? and they didn't do a good job explaining the demons and Pandemonium at all, I was left just plain confused and finally (and this is purely my opinion folks) Rosette and Chrono's death feels kinda cheap

however the manga actually makes sense! and although Rosette (but not Chrono) still dies, it's instead touching and bittersweet and it doesnt end on the downer of Aion COMING BACK (though who knows if he's even dead in the manga)

so there you have it

personally I love what they did with Aion at the end...like he is a herald of great tragedy... appears before the stock market crash, appears before the pope is shot, etc

but then again, people ALWAYS say the book/manga is better than the movie/show...so that is unchangeable

well the anime is fun for what it is, but the manga is just more well rounded and makes more sense, it's undeniable

I actually wish the series went on for more than 8 volumes, but even then I'm glad the creator didn't drag the series out till it became ridiculous (like certain series out there, I wont name any names)
