More Sado

I'm kinda dissapointed that the was'nt more focus on sado, he was my favourite character and it allways felt like he was defeated to quickly. I also wanted to learn more about his powers.

reply

He was always defeated quickly because he's simply not on the same level as the more powerful characters.

There's not much more to know about his powers. The Fullbringer arc already explained his powers.

He's pretty weak anyway and has next to no potential to become significantly stronger, so I don't really see why we'd need to know more about his powers.

Personally I'd like to see less of him. Pretty tired of seeing Ichigo's friends fight when they're always losing and always end up needing to be saved. It gets pretty predictable and watching them get beat up for an entire episode knowing they won't be turning it around isn't fun to watch.

If anything, they should get defeated quicker so we can get to the match-ups that are actually evenly matched, and not a predictable one-sided beatdown from the villain until Ichigo or one of the captains come and save the day.

I like it, when Ichigo's friends joining the fight, except orihime, she only cries...

reply

I would be overjoyed if none of his human fodder friends ever showed up again.

I like Sado too and really wish he was on the same level as say Ishida for example. But it's true that it's annoying to see him lose all the time :(

reply

I hate seeing the humans fight they are predictable. Put up a tiny fight have a SR save them.

That's exactly what I mean; why do they have to be so weak that they can't handle a fight without being saved by a shinigami?
(Inoue I get, her powers aren't really meant for fighting, but sado and Ishida should be able to at least take care of themselves in a fight)

Well, not everybody is that strong. There's not really anything that special about Chad and Ishida, so there's not really any particular reason they should be able to match up with shinigami that have been training for 60-100 years.

Ichigo being able to do so is already kind of unrealistic. It'd be pretty ridiculous if Ichigo and all his human friends all happen to be so special that they can go toe-to-toe with experienced spiritual beings that exist to fight.

Sado and Ishida didn't have that many trouble 'cutting' through all other shinigami though (non captain). I'm guessing they're probably somewhat the same level of a vice captain (Sado perhaps a bit weaker). The thing is that Kubo himself never was clear on which power level any character is and that it changed between the two arcs. Ichigo was able to defeat Kenpachi without bankai for example, even though Kenpachi hardly broke a sweat while defeating Espada nr. 5 not that much later.

Given who the main enemies of this new (and sadly final) arc are, I suspect that Ishida's got a pretty big role left to play so don't count him out yet, Inoue's powers are mainly defense and healing so she still has her uses (I do wish she'd have more to say than "Kurosaki-kun", thankfully I may get that wish if the latest Manga Chapter is any indication), Sado on the other had I have to agree is pretty much the only one that's useless(he did defeat that one arrancar in the Hueco Mundo arc, I forget his name, so maybe Kubo will throw in a token weak ass enemy for Sado to defeat this arc as well). Still whithout going into spoilers,Ichigo will have some interesting allies this arc so there may not be enough room to slip Sado in.. I guess we'll see.

Is it not a matter for tears that, when the number of worlds is infinite, I have not conquered one?

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

Sorry, not sure how to do the whole spoiler text that hides the worse til you scroll over it.

Has anyone wondered about what the first Vandereich said about Ishida. Ichigo said the bad guy's arrows were stronger than Ishida's and he said "it's impossible." Was he trying to tell us something there? Seems like this fight with the vandereich is moving pretty quickly considering. Has Ishida grown more powerful without telling anyone?

I agree. He was always one of my favorite of the human characters, and while they did explain his powers to a degree, they never went that deep into them. For example, in the Fullbringer arc they said his power was centered in his skin, not his arms (unless my memory is very faulty), so why is it just his arms that get armor? Does this mean with more training he could get armor over his entire body? They really should have gone into that.

They just seem to ignore exploring any character's abilities very far (except Ichigo's), especially the human ones. PRIME example: How would Orihime's powers have manifested if her brother hadn't given her the hairpins.

Chad though, is my 2nd favorite of the side/human characters. I always thought they should have done A LOT more with Tatsuki.
