V's revolutionary speech is good, but one problem

"More than 400 years ago, a great citizen wished to imbed the 5th of November forever in our memory.
His hope was to remind the world
that fairness, justice and freedom are more than words. They are perspectives."

Guy Fawkes most certainly did not plan the gun powder plot for fairness or justice. He wanted a Catholic theocracy in England. I like the movie and the speech, but how could V possibly think Fawkes is some hero of justice and freedom?

Thanks for reminding me of that. That's another issue with V's speech that I had forgotten about.
