this left me wondering

did caye leave prostitution? i mean she gave all her money for her surgery to zule. and her and her mother kinda had a silent understanding about both things(her mother's fake secret admirerer and caye being a prostitute) who thinks she should work in the beauty salon? i mean sure, it's probably not great money, but she only saved that money for her surgery and she seemed to care more about finding true love than money anyway. why not work there and search for such things? won't caye and zule still be in touch? i mean there's always phone calls, letters, ect. and zule said she might return one day, or maybe caye could visit her. i don't see why her returning to santo domingo has to be a complete end to the relationship.
