Everything in this film I think. Help me out?

Am I the only person that thinks it wasn't his daughter and she was an actual real vampire/monster thingy?

I've read most of the other posts and the general consensus is he is nuts and made most of it up in his head, and thats his daughter. Whereas the only firm conclusion I ever came to (after only one viewing, admittedly) is that girl is NOT his daughter and never was.

I need to watch it again I think...

I caught that part, when he says he killed his wife and that he treated his daughter like an animal, but I feel that F was a creature & not his daughter.
