The women in this movie were banshees.

The guys should have ran for the hills.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

They were written that way (by a guy). I think this movie made men and women look stupid. The women were portrayed as burdens and men looked like spineless dumbasses. If this is "real life," then I want nothing to do with it.

Hmm... There was another thread on here about how all the guys are chauvinists.

But seriously how are they Banshees. Chris' wife Lisa is the only one I could understand calling that but it is still a bit harsh. I don't think she was a bad person at heart just not strong enough to deal with her situation and emotions in a healthy way.

Danielle merely made the mistake of thinking someone who has been sleeping with her for a while might be interested in a legitimate relationship, hardly a banshee. I would say Kenny is the worse person in that couple.

Arianna is merely taking a brutally honest approach toward Izzy, which I think is better than being polite but false.

Jenna simply wanted her long term boyfriend and father of her child to be a responsible father and not cheat on her. How is that a Banshee?

Kim not having witnessed Michael's relationship made a perfectly understandable miscalculation that a guy who really likes her and wants to come see her instead of his girlfriend is not happy with his girlfriend and would be happier with her. She tries to make a relationship happen which Michael would have been perfectly happy to do if he didn't already have a serious relationship. Again how is she a banshee?

Very well said, baryjayne. I completely agree. I think that for all the emotional problems that the women had, the guys had that many or worse. It was simply a movie centered around the male characters, so you are slightly encouraged to care about them more.

Personally, I feel sorry for the women for having to deal with lowlifes like those guys. A bit harsh, but hey, these guys sucked.

The women were banshees, the men were zombies, and this viewer was left numb by the shrill performances and dialogue. 3/10 stars from me.

The movie was so misogynist. Every single female character was horrible. Even when a male character was a jerk-like Braff's, they were made to be somewhat sympathetic. But, the women? Not an ounce of sympathy for them. They were clingy, insecure, whiny, stupid shrews. I'd like to punch the writer in the balls for his portrayal of women. Did he write the script after getting dumped or something?
