OIh My God! How did I miss this movie when it came out????

It just played on one of my movie channels and I managed to catch almost the whole thing.

Delightful! Just delightful! I love the soundtrack too. Everything was spectacular. And the guy from Serenity as a drag queen? I didn't even recognize him until I saw his name, and then I knew I had seen him in stuff before.

All the acting was brilliant, and I always love to see shots of England - I've always wanted to go there.

I'm running right out and buy this on DVD!

I feel the same way. How did I never hear about this film when it came out?? It is fantastic!!! Were it not for the Broadway musical, I never would have seen it.

The same here...I was channel surfing and saw it listed, so I taped it last week, and watched it just now. Absolutely wonderful !!
What's funny is that between my taping it and just watching it, I discover that it is also a Broadway musical right now, having won several Tony awards a few days ago. It won "Best Musical" and "Best Score" (for Cyndi Lauper's music) and had other nominations, as well.

You've done some bad things, sweetie.

I'm in the same boat. After watching the Tony Awards this year, I knew about the musical, but I had no idea it had been a film first.

I'm watching it right now, and thus far, I really like it. :)

This movie is brilliant, I'm glad that people are still discovering it thanks to the musical.
