The DVD

On April 10 "Dieter - Der Film" will be released on DVD in Germany. It will neither have special features nor subtitles, just the german dubbed movie in widescreen.

reply

Well, it's better than nothing... I suppose...

reply

Yeah I thought English subtitles might be too much to hope for. :( It means I won't understand half of what they're saying, but hey, a chance to see Dieter as a silly cartoon character in ANY language is priceless! :D

reply

It was nauseating to watch this crap on TV for free- and now you're gonna PAY for the DVD??!? Yeah, right. <rolleyes>

reply

Why don't you just go away, asshat?

reply

Because I am free to express my opinion here, or on any other board. So deal with it, kiddo.

reply

Whatever.
The minute you started using words like "retarded" in that so-called opinion of yours, you pretty much flushed your own credibility down the toilet.
What are you even doing here? Aren't trolls usually found on boards with crap-loads of users?

reply

Ya must be outta yar tiny mind. I never said "retarded". On second thought, perhaps I shoulda. :)

reply

I'm sorry, you're right. You said "Mentally challenged". I apologise.
Still though, why do you hate this film? It's not *that* bad?

reply

It is a shallow movie
made by a shallow man
for shallow people.

reply

You know, I don't mind so much that you dislike the film. Nothing there I can do. But you have no right to put people, who happens to like it, down.

reply

You know, actually I do believe in a concept which is increasingly out of date these days: A movie should better a person watching it. It should either give this person moral guidance or teach the person something or just plainly entertain him or her.

"DDF" does nothing of that sort. If your concept of entertainment or fun is watching some untalented freak poking fun at some discarded playmates of his, then be my guest, but that is just plain shallow.

I am truly sorry if that offends you, but, as you might have noticed, three times as many people gave it an IMDb "1" rating above any other rating, which does say something, after all.
