Is this a remake?

I've seen an old slasher movie from the early 80s or late seventies with a very simliar premis. In it, a slew of teens go through a haunted ride and get chopped up. Does this resemble anything?

I couldn't find much definitive information on the movie I saw--IMDB has located a movie called "Killer's Delight" (aka DARK RIDE). The premise sounds pretty semiliar to this new release.

Does anyone know any info that regards this movie as a remake?

I wouldn't be surprised...most horror movies are nowadays anyway.

Dark Ride is not a remake. Like all movies it has many sources that inspired the writers and director. Mostly Dark Ride pays homage to the horror films of the 70s and 80s in general not to one specifically.
