I saw this movie last night and it reminded me of that old movie from the 80's entitled Funhouse. The plot was similar and everything-- masked killer slaughtering a bunch of kids who decide to spend the evening in a funhouse. It was almost as if they remade that movie and gave it a different title lol. The only thing that separated the two movies was that Dark Ride had gore and the twist at the end.

I thought the exact same thing when I watched this, total rip off of "Funhouse".....Same mental brother that was brought up in the funhouse with an IQ of 5, kills a bunch of teens. Agree that the gore and twist at the end made for a better ending than "Funhouse".
shareI so agree..it was FunHouse all over again...just basically updated. Very disappointed in the "8 movies to die for"...was expecting something that was really going to scare me.
