It was a good movie.

*** CONTAINS SPOILERS ***
It was so good, that when I (stupid me) watched it for the first time from the middle on, I actually did believe there was something wrong with her husband. I thought that he was trying to contain her within their house, for some malicious reasons of his. That he was drugging her to prevent her from escaping. That it was him who was psychic...
Just later on I understood the truth, hidden behind what I saw with her eyes.
The ending was overwhelming. Saddening and although there wasn't much of a mystery for me anymore - I finally managed to work it out before the end - it did move me.
Today I watched it again, this time from the beginning. And I watched it with pleasure, because the events were developed very nicely. The course of actions was perhaps predictable since the moment in the movie when you realize, that she is falling ill with psychosis, but nonetheless, I enjoyed seeing how those people reacted to the situation, every member of the family tried to cope with this matter in his own way.
And you know what? It was heartbreaking - watching the family go down, the woman lose her sanity, the children losing their mother, and not only because I can relate as I am a mother, too, I guess it was just well acted and directed.
The cast was very pleasing to the eyes, lovely actors - parents and children, the more nice, as I've never seen them before. That's what's good in foreign movies - wonderful new actors - because I got fed up with the usual Hollywood casting - like, Jennifer Aniston everywhere...
I give the movie nine stars. Because I find it that good.
