this looks like a total rip off of the oblongs. i mean the characters look practically the same. i'm not watching this, it doesnt even look like it's any good.

"kinda" is an understatement, the cbc is starting a slow and painful spin into the seedy underworld of american television...The One...come one George you were cool on muchmusic.....Land and Sea all the by's

and the oblongs are a rip off of tim burton, which is a rip off of charles addams. i found this show a fine example of stop-motion animation with just the right sort of twisted humour. kudos to the cbc for airing it. remember, the oblongs were cancelled because some idiotic network executie's sensibilities were 'offended'. lets hope that doesn't happen with this show.

There's a good point here. Princess is almost a complete transfer of the minor character from the Oblongs called Hella Phugly. They even did a similar voice.

I wonder if this was an intentional tribute by Alone creators, because it just seems to obvious to be a rip-off.

Why not just watch it once, it's a good show!! I didn't think it looked good at first, but now it's one of my favorites!
